Summary
In the eyes of an enlightened person, everyone is a Buddha. If you truly practice, some day you will realize this level and know that all beings are Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. There would be no sentient beings without Buddhas, nor Buddhas without sentient beings. Buddhas are the true sentient beings, and sentient beings are the true Buddhas. There's nothing else we can say except this. Sentient beings don't know they are Buddhas yet, so Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have to come and teach them in manifestations, and gradually guide them until they understand that they are Buddhas themselves.
In spite of being a Buddha, you are still an ignorant Buddha before you are "fully" learned. You will gradually turn into an "enlightened Buddha", a real Buddha, totally the same as what you once were. Originally we already had everything, it is not that we have it only after enlightenment. It's just that we don't know it yet.
