Excerpts from Supreme Master Ching Hai’s Lecture:

The most important thing after we die is not burying, or anything about the immobile body, but where our souls go. If we have not done anything good while alive, no matter how much paper money is burned, it won’t help. This is not something you can buy or exchange with social position. So, we should make more merit and help those in need; harm the animals less, the less the better, the best is not to harm the animals at all. So, the best is to eat a vegetarian diet, the more the better and the more you eat like a vegetarian, the more merit. This is also love, the unconditional love, and this can help the animals live longer. The more we help others live longer, the longer our life will become, because good deed has good retribution.
