The king assailed himself. Someone like him has a heart as big as the ocean, as vast as space. He can break the ignorant preconceptions of people. “Now the sentient beings are rolling in the mud and struggling. How can you have the heart to leave them?” He kept on talking. He must have a good memory, so he would not get old. They are all like that. They would sacrifice their own life to seek Tao. But listening to this one sentence won’t make him fully enlightened, right? The Brahma will not teach him the supreme Tao. He had sacrificed so much life after life because of his vow of becoming a Buddha, and he only reached Buddhahood in that lifetime. Wow! It’s so scary! Who dares to become a Buddha? We can just find someone who has reached Buddhahood and hitch a ride. (Audiences laugh.) We just take a ride, which is very convenient. We don’t need to pay tax, ride a bicycle, use gas or money. It’s more convenient.
