  • Summary

Master says: Don’t come here and complain that your husband is bad-tempered or your wife is not nice. Spiritual practitioners should be better than them, but you always end up quarrelling with them and forcing them to let you go to the 7-day retreat. One of your brothers from Yilan is a good example. He talked with his wife in a sincere, determined and humble manner about his going to the 7-Day retreat, and proceeded softly and slowly. This is the right way. We do not suppress other's feelings or make them heart-broken in order to go on with our spiritual practice. Besides, we do not disturb other’s peaceful atmosphere in orfer to do a small amount of work. In that way, our work accounts for nothing .

Many spiritual practitioners are spoiled by others’ praises and respect. Originally they are good people... At first, they practiced a little and have some light, but after they become famous, they have no light any more… Most ordinary people could not see who is dark and who has light.

Only with a human body can one go beyond the three worlds, and forever be liberated from the life cycle of the eighty-four thousand types of beings. Humans are the only species to be able to go beyond the cycle. Otherwise, once exited from this door of human, we have to come back again for more than eighty-four thousand or hundreds of millions of life times, and still not sure to become human again. So we should understand this and no longer care only about sleeping, eating, drinking, pleasure, entertainment and those mundane garbage.
